The Chrysler Group LLC has announced that San Francisco now has its first Fiat showroom. This is especially good news for both Fiat and the City by the Bay due to their joint love for all things green. Moreover, the opening of the showroom is quite an accomplishment for Chrysler considering how competitive the real estate market is in Frisco and how hostile to business its leaders and regulations are.
Fiat of course is pleased to have gained this toehold on America’s left coast. Jason Stoicevich, head of Fiat in North America, said, “The opening of Fiat of San Francisco is an important step for continuing the growth of our brand in the United States. We have Fiat studios in the region, but having a presence right in the city, where our Fiat 500 has been so popular, will make it easier for our customers to do business with us. This is the ideal location, in the fashionable Pacific Heights area, for our first studio in San Francisco.”
